Frequently Asked Questions
How does a nebuliser work?
A nebuliser is used in the effective treatment of respiratory illnesses like Asthma or COPD. A nebuliser turns liquid medication into a fine aerosol mist so it can reach the lower respiratory passages and relieve the patient’s symptoms.
Can this nebuliser be used by Adults and Children?
Yes, and our nebuliser comes supplied with an Adult and Child mask.
How often do I need to change the Nebuliser’s filter?
We’d recommend changing the filter every 30 days if it’s used daily otherwise change the filter when it turns grey.
How do I clean the nebuliser?
It’s important to keep your nebuliser clean as it may not work correctly if it becomes dirty. Soak the nebuliser chamber in soapy water, rinse and dry after each use. Clean the face mask in soapy water every few days and leave to dry if used on a daily basis. Change the filter regularly, every 30 days if used daily or when the filter turns grey.
Do you supply nebuliser filters and masks for the nebuliser's you stock?
Our nebuliser's come with a mask and filters, but we also sell a nebuliser kit which is suitable for the nebulisers we stock. The nebuliser kit comes with an Adult and Child mask, chamber, tubing and 5 filters.
