About the role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Consultant to join our Galway store team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with customers seeking medical aids and high-value equipment, helping them find solutions that support comfort, mobility, and independence in everyday life.
As part of our retail team, you will deliver exceptional in-store experiences, provide expert product guidance, and contribute to the smooth running of store operations. This is a rewarding position for someone who enjoys working with people and making a real difference in customers’ lives.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain an organised and efficient retail environment, supporting smooth day-to-day store operations alongside colleagues and the Retail Manager.
• Deliver excellent customer service by welcoming walk-in customers and assisting them throughout their in-store experience.
• Educate customers on product features and benefits to ensure suitable solutions for their needs.
• Promote current sales and campaigns while maintaining best practice selling behaviours.
• Build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat visits and strong recommendations.
• Manage assigned product ranges, ensuring correct display and promotion within the store.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, chatbot, and in person, assisting with orders and product questions.
• Complete daily cash-up procedures, monitor discrepancies, and process lodgements where required.
• Support housekeeping, stock management, and general store upkeep.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure safe, compliant store operations.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed to support store success.
Skills & Experience Required
• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar retail role.
• Experience using EPOS systems, Microsoft Office, Shopify, and online applications.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment.
